# Exclude Partners From Your Paid Search Monitoring Policies

After you've [created a paid search monitoring policy](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/protect-and-monitor-your-performance-program/paid-search-monitoring/create-a-paid-search-monitoring-policy), you can exclude certain partners from this policy. This feature is useful if you have agreements with certain partners who can use your keywords within specific time frames.

#### Create an exclusion list

1. From the left navigation menu, select ![](https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-db1131f1b95ffbfa026aac99b07a7ffe0564b3b6%2F477fa23d9ffe966a6d1191fbd504e9a68f4c3918efe5cee5cb7bbd826e591fea.svg?alt=media) **\[Protect]** → **Monitoring** → **Policies**.
2. Find the specific paid search monitoring policy from which you want to exclude a partner.
   * Use the **Type** filter to filter for *Paid Search Ad*.
3. Hover over the policy, then select ![](https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-8ec3e877b1397045c61d394485e72ac4d93120ee%2Fc6ddb46c637059f06e86c790a911217a9428f5c47b5efef046f90555e85b03cd.svg?alt=media) **\[More]** → **View Exclusions**.
4. In the upper-right corner, select **Create Exclusion**.
5. On the *Create Exclusions* screen, complete the following information:
   * The *Name* of the exclusion.
   * The *Time Frame* in which partners should be excluded from your policy.

6. Select **Save**.

#### Manage your exclusion lists

When you've created exclusion lists, you can keep track of them and perform various actions like editing or canceling them.

**Filter your exclusion lists**

1. On the *Exclusions* screen, use the filters to look for specific exclusion lists.
   * Refer to the *Filter reference* table below for more information.

2. With the applicable filters selected, proceed with performing any additional actions:

2. Edit the *Name*, *Time Frame*, or *Partners*.
3. Select **Save**.

2. Select **Cancel Exclusion** to temporarily pause the exclusion.
   * Select **Reinstate Exclusion** to activate the exclusion again.
3. Select **Delete Exclusion** to permanently remove the exclusion.
   * Read the prompt and select **OK** to complete the action.
