# Configure Paid Search Monitoring Notification Settings

Paid Search Monitoring notifications keep you informed about any new or updated potential violations. These notifications appear in the notification panel accessible in the left navigation bar and are sent to you via email or SMS.

**Do more with Paid Search Monitoring Advanced:** When you upgrade to Paid Search Monitoring Advanced, you can monitor more than 10 times the amount of keywords across 16 search engines multiple times a day. If you're interested, reach out to your CSM (or [contact support](https://app.impact.com/support/portal.ihtml?createTicket=true)) to ask about upgrading.

#### Configure your Paid Search Monitoring notifications

1. From the top navigation bar, select ![](/files/expnfgwKPMX0KubU8zBA) **\[Notification]**.
2. In the upper-right corner of the notification panel, select ![](/files/I1uUA62bx23p0mD56Cgh) **\[Settings]** to edit notification settings.
3. Navigate to the *Paid Search Monitoring* section, hover over **Violations**, and select ![](/files/SyooOGdTqnwDR7bJmn9m) **\[Edit]**.
4. From the ![](/files/jA6jLZ1RleK5VI2zmvap) **\[Drop-down menu]** specify how and how often you would like to receive your *Paid Search Monitoring* notifications.

| Send SMS                     | An SMS will be sent to a verified mobile number for each violation notification.                                                                           |
| Don’t send notifications     | No notifications will be sent.                                                                                                                             |
| Specific settings (Advanced) | You can choose how you want to be notified of each new or updated violation. You can also specify different notification settings for *Severe* violations. |

5. Select **Save**.
