# Find Creators with Creator Search
Creator Search is a search tool that supports growing brand programs. It provides you with instant real-time results and access to 25M+ creator profiles across platforms, and the ability to reach creators both within the impact.com marketplace and beyond. You can access Creator Search in both performance and creator programs.

**Note:** Only creators with publicly available email addresses will show up in your search results. This is because impact.com requires an email address to send the creator an email, invite, or campaign proposal.

### Find creators
1. From the left navigation menu, select .svg?alt=media\&token=8a0e56eb-ff89-4046-8e72-ad2b503f8bf9) **\[Discover] → Find Partners →** [**Creator Search**](https://app.impact.com/secure/advertiser/discover/fr/discover/creator-rt-searches.ihtml).
* Alternatively, if you have a creator program, select .svg?alt=media\&token=8a0e56eb-ff89-4046-8e72-ad2b503f8bf9) **\[Discover] → Find Creators →** [**Creator Search**](https://app.impact.com/secure/advertiser/discover/fr/discover/creator-rt-searches.ihtml).
2. From the tabs at the top, select the social media platform you want to search through. Choose between *Instagram*, *TikTok*, or *YouTube*.
* On the *Instagram* tab, you can:
* Add another Instagram account to pull search results from: Select **Add Account** from the upper-right corner and log in to the account you want to add. Accept all requested permissions to ensure the integration works correctly.
* Swap between connected Instagram accounts: Select  **\[Drop-down menu]** from the upper-right corner and choose between your accounts.

**Instagram**: You must authenticate your Meta account in impact.com to use the Instagram search functionality. Refer to [Discover New Partners through Meta's Creator Marketplace](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/find-partners-and-creators/pages/4dNU4BqID8tgeF7wxNno#connect-your-meta-account-to-impact.com) to learn how to do so.

3. Use the filters to find creators according to selected details, then select **Get Results**. Refer to the *Platform-specific references & metrics* section below for more information.
* Your applied filters persist when switching between social media platform tabs, except for those unsupported by the platform.
* Result counts vary by platform: TikTok (up to 500), YouTube (up to 24,000), and Instagram (no result count provided).
4. Optionally:
* Select  **\[List view]** to view results in a list or select  **\[Grid view]** to view results in a grid.
* Select  **\[Down arrow]** and choose to sort results.
5. Select a creator to view their [profile](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/creator-program/working-with-creators/view-a-creators-profile.md). Whether the creator has an impact.com account or not, you can do the following from the profile slideout:
* Invite them to your brand or campaign.
* Add them as a prospect.
* Email them directly from the platform.

### Platform-specific filters & metrics

To appear in general Creator Search results, creators must have a professional account and be onboarded to Meta's Creator Marketplace. However, you can use the handle search filter to find creators who only have a professional account, though their available insights will be limited.

**Important**: Meta's Creator Marketplace integration is being rolled out gradually to all users. If you don't see the Instagram creator data mentioned below in your account, it will become available as the rollout progresses.

- You can only filter by one keyword at a time.
- This filter can't be used with the Creator lookalike filter.

| Follower growth | Filter for creators that have the top follower growth in the past 30 days, compared to similar creators. |
| Latest posts | Filter for creators who've recently created a public post or reel. |
| Recommendation type | Filter for creators based on the category of recommendation used to surface them. Choose to return creators who:
- Are most relevant for you
- Have the most ads experience
- Have partnered with brands like you
- Are similar to creators you've worked with before
- Are expected to deliver high ad performance for you

| Reels hook rate | The percentage of Reels views that lasted longer than 3 seconds.
This is calculated as 3-second views divided by initial views (when a Reel first starts playing in a user session).

### FAQs
Why can’t I see some creators in the search results?
For Instagram, creators will only appear if they have a professional account and have explicitly opted into Meta's Creator Marketplace.
Is there a way to save or rerun searches?
You can bookmark your search results or share the URL with teammates to rerun the exact same search anytime.
* **To bookmark your results**: Select the  **\[Star]** in your browser’s address bar and save the page.
* **To share a URL**: Copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar and share it with your teammates.
Why can’t I see the YouTube tab?
YouTube restricts access in certain regions. If your account is associated with one of these regions, the YouTube tab will not be available. See which [countries have access](https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7101720).
Why are some of my Instagram filters missing?
Our Instagram search is now powered directly by Meta's Creator Marketplace API, which only surfaces data that professional creators have explicitly consented to share with brands. While this means a few legacy filters are no longer supported, it ensures you're discovering verified, high-intent partners using the most accurate, first-party data available.
Why do the available filters and metrics differ across social media platform tabs?
impact.com pulls first-party data directly from Meta and YouTube. The filters and metrics you see are unique to that specific platform's capabilities.
Why is there a discrepancy in the data of creators who have an account on impact.com?
For creators who have connected their media properties to impact.com, we pull data from both their direct account connection and via Meta or YouTube's APIs. If a creator's media property connection expires, it can result in a mismatch between the two data sets until the creator reauthorizes their connection.
