# Create & Manage Your Legal Entities Legal entities are where your payment-related and tax-related information is housed. Here you can create a new legal entity or edit existing legal entities. #### Create a Legal Entity {% hint style="warning" %} This feature is only available with specific impact.com editions or add-ons. From the top navigation bar, select **your balance** → **Settings**. 2. From the left navigation menu, under *Settings*, select [Legal Entities](https://app.impact.com/secure/advertiser/finance/fr/legal-entities-view.ihtml?). 3. In the top right corner, select **Create Legal Entity**. 4. Fill out the relevant information and select **Save**. * See the *Legal Entities form reference* below for more information on the fields.

Note: Your billing address should match the information in your tax forms.

• Address Line 1: Enter the Street name and unit/house/building number.

• Address Line 2: Enter any additional information regarding the location (2nd floor, etc.).

• City: Enter the name of the city in which your account is located.

• Country: Select the country in which your account is located from the drop down list.

• Postal code: Enter the postal code that relates to the city and country you provided above.

If you are US-based and your organization is registered in the US, enter your Employer Identification Number (EIN) or your Social Security Number (SSN).

If you are US-based and your organization is registered outside of the US, enter your Foreign Tax ID .

If you are not US-based, enter "n/a" and our financial team will reach out to you if more information is needed.

\[Toggle on] this section if you are operating your impact.com program in a country that levies an indirect tax and provide the following information:

• Country of Indirect Tax

Select the country you are registered in for indirect tax from the drop-down list.

• Indirect Tax Number

The indirect tax number associated with your account.

| | Funding Account Currency |

Select the currency for the default funding account associated with this legal entity from the drop-down list.

This option is only available when creating a legal entity and cannot be edited thereafter.

#### Manage your existing legal entities 1. From the top navigation bar, select **your balance** → **Settings**. 2. From the left navigation menu, under *Settings*, select [Legal Entities](https://app.impact.com/secure/advertiser/finance/fr/legal-entities-view.ihtml?). 3. Hover over the relevant legal entity and select **Edit**.
4. You can now edit the tax information and billing address information and select **Save** once done.

Warning: Changing these values can affect your account funding and invoicing. If you need to make a change, then contact support.
