# Expire Assets as a Brand

This article will explain how to expire an asset once it has reached the end of its promotional period. Expiring an asset removes it from the partner's content marketplace. However, some instances of the asset may still appear on the partner’s website or social channels. Any clicks on these expired assets will be tracked and reported in the [*Clicks from Expired Ads Report*](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/multi-program-reports/operations-reports/clicks-from-expired-ads-report.md).

#### Expire an asset

1. In the left navigation bar, select ![](/files/CDnwOBeIdds9r3Z6zTnO) **\[Engage] → Content →** [**Ads**](https://app.impact.com/secure/advertiser/engage/ads/manage-all-ads-flow.ihtml).
2. Hover your cursor over the asset you want to expire and select **Update**.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select **Expire**.
4. Read the pop-up notification and select **OK**.

#### Expire multiple assets

1. Hover your cursor over the assets you want expire and select their ![](/files/FrzJdYoKvOuHxpwWtvcp) **\[Unchecked boxes]**.
2. Optionally, select the **Select All \[Unchecked box]** to select all assets on the current page. Once selected, a **Select All Possible Rows** option appears. Select it to extend your selection across all pages.
3. Select the **More Actions** ![](/files/jA6jLZ1RleK5VI2zmvap) **\[Drop-down menu]** → **Expire**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/ads/manage-ads/expire-assets-as-a-brand.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
