# Mark Potential Partners as Prospects

You must first mark interesting partners as prospects before you can begin tracking where they are in the new partner funnel. You'll do this primarily in Marketplace.

1. From the left navigation bar, select ![](https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-256572041ef9ad75d3e67aab1e9567ec34b8b0e8%2Fd99a087cccc9a98794d66a4acf8e8cafc425b112ce63c86d965965b30e3b91b4.svg?alt=media) **\[Discover]** → **Find Partners → Partner Marketplace**.
   * Alternatively, for creator programs, select ![](https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-256572041ef9ad75d3e67aab1e9567ec34b8b0e8%2Fd99a087cccc9a98794d66a4acf8e8cafc425b112ce63c86d965965b30e3b91b4.svg?alt=media) **\[Discover]** → **Find Creators → Creator Marketplace**.
2. Once in the marketplace, [begin browsing for partners](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/performance-program/recruiting-partners/look-for-specific-types-of-partners).
3. Tag partners as prospects. You have 2 ways to do this:
   * Tag partners when searching through multiple partners.
   * Tag a partner as a prospect when viewing their profile.

#### Tag a prospect when searching through partners

Tag a partner as a prospect by hovering over their logo, then selecting ![](https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-d2954616dc486c3e12c9211e20ff376bda0ab1af%2F7586e04e82e7c7203e5c82320dd417f8ac564cae5035024fdf0eb2ed017e6376.svg?alt=media) **\[Check]** when it appears beside the logo.

#### Tag a prospect when viewing a partner's profile

Tag a partner as a prospect by going to their profile, then selecting the ![](https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-4e2eb56f7a0317e4afab899bcc5728b41c936979%2F156d94b4eae47d787101ad70424e4db735832f2f96a09cbe3ccfa3e08e408b05.svg?alt=media) **\[Checkmark]**.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-99b16e5063af27da5c047f777b056f7b4b65da55%2F0ea4cb640ceb1c0c8ae8778903168f92c893b22fdd094185b78d876e4084fe20.png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Once you have a handful of prospects, you can begin managing your funnel more effectively.

**Mark partners as not interested**

You can also mark partners that you are not interested in. This will hide the partner from Marketplace for you. To view hidden partners, use the **Hide** option in Marketplace's Prospects filter.
