# Contact a Prospect

Once you’ve marked a potential partner as a [*Prospect*](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/performance-program/recruiting-partners/prospective-partners/mark-potential-partners-as-prospects), you can message or email them within the impact.com platform. To email a joined partner, see [Email a Partner](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/reach-out-to-partners/emails/email-a-partner) instead.

#### Message a prospect

**Important:** Your prospect must have Messaging enabled for them to appear in your messaging list.

1. 2. Hover your cursor over the prospect to which you want to send a message, then select ![](https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-8ec3e877b1397045c61d394485e72ac4d93120ee%2Fc6ddb46c637059f06e86c790a911217a9428f5c47b5efef046f90555e85b03cd.svg?alt=media) **\[More]** → **Message**.
3. Enter the message you'd like to send.
   * Optionally, you can ![](https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-8a8d53b8213cbc775f140da1793eae45e545aea1%2Fac7713ef448343c401b031417b972b0647df6d6717fca53b1ea458fe41eb4191.svg?alt=media) **\[Attach]** the following file types: CSV, PDF, JPEG, PNG, GIF.
   * impact.com scans all incoming and outgoing attachments for viruses.
4. Once you've composed your message and added your attachments, select **Send**.

#### Email a prospect

2. Select the **All Partners** tab.
   * Alternatively, select the **All Creators** tab.
3. Hover your cursor over the partner you want to email, then select the partner tile.
4. **Bulk email prospects**

1. 2.    * To email all prospects on the first page, select **Select All** at the top of the table. Manually select any additional prospects on the following pages.
3. Above the table, select **Email**.

4. Select **Send** when you're done.
