<details>

<summary>Is the payment process similar to that of impact.com's other program types?</summary>

Yes. A new Creator Post event type is used for creator payments and it goes through the exact same contracting, locking, and clearing steps.

<details>

<summary>How will invoices show planned payouts for creators versus the other program types?</summary>

There isn’t anything different about the creator program payouts from typical partner commissions. Task payouts will appear as pending actions according to the immediate locking and clearing schedule defined in the contract.

<details>

<summary>Will creator content be tracked on a content level, or only on a campaign level?</summary>

A piece of content submitted to complete a task is added to impact.com's database with metadata associated with the campaign. However, a creator may in some cases not use an affiliate link that they are including in the post, which means there won’t be any actions tracked for the content.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Will there be a unique link generated for each task's content item, or will the tracking links for the content all be the same tracking link?</summary>

Creators can generate tracking links for campaign-related content from their task manager as part of the task and track performance like clicks and actions against it.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** You have to enable tracking when creating a campaign before creators can generate tracking links.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Are you required to use tracking links if you are paying flat fees and getting insights from social platforms?</summary>

No, you aren't required to use tracking links. impact.com gets social insights per post like shares, likes, engagements, comments, etc. without using links. You'll need to use links or promo codes to track performance. It is possible to track performance even if there is no associated payout for the campaign. So, if you're doing flat fees only you could still use links to track performance.

<details>

<summary>Will the template terms in the Creator portal have the same functionality as the main program template terms?</summary>

Yes, if you have a sale event type you get the same functionality as other Performance programs (though still restricted by edition). However, you can't set up payout groups and the like for Creator Post event types.

<details>

<summary>Do I need to use a template term if I’m only paying flat fees as compensation (no CPA)?</summary>

Yes, a template term is always required to create a relationship with creators regardless of the campaign compensation type.

For a creator to be paid, they must have a contract with you by joining your program’s template terms. These terms specify payment timelines and other business terms.

When a partner starts working on a specific campaign, they will accept your SOW (Statement of Work) for that campaign. The SOW will indicate the deliverables they will produce, such as the type of content, the platform on which they post, and their compensation. Once a campaign is over, the Creator will remain a part of your program (unless you remove them).

<details>

<summary>Will a creator be joined to a template term if they get added to a campaign before joining a program?</summary>

They will be joined to the public terms by default if the creator is not joined to any other terms.

</details>

<details>

<summary>When are payments generated? Do creators get paid automatically when they complete their tasks?</summary>

Creators are not paid automatically when they complete their tasks. Payments are only generated when you click the **Pay** button on a per-creator basis - the exact payment date after that is determined by the locking and clearing schedule you have specified in your template terms.
