# Find & Add Prospects with the impact.com Chrome Extension

The impact.com Chrome extension shows you data about creator profiles while you browse the web — and lets you add them as a prospect without signing into the impact.com website. You can:

* View if a creator is already on impact.com.
* Add creators as prospects.
* See key engagement and audience data.
* Find lookalike creators with similar characteristics.

The extension is compatible with Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers, including Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Arc.

#### Get the extension

To get started, download the impact.com for Chrome extension.

1. If you’re using Google Chrome, download the [impact.com for Chrome](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/impactcom-for-chrome-beta/jliaphkmaknmllgfgfifmaciiindcpmi?authuser=0\&hl=en) extension from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Pin the extension to your browser toolbar for easy access.

3. Sign in to impact.com.

#### Add prospects with an existing impact.com account

1. Navigate to a creator you’re interested in on any of the following social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, X, or Twitch.
2. Open the Chrome extension and sign in.
3. Review the creator’s data in the extension. See the *Profile reference* below for details.
4.      * If you have a [messaging template](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/reach-out-to-partners/messaging) set up in your impact.com account, select an existing template from the drop-down menu to populate the email fields.
     * If you don't have a messaging template set up, either select **Send custom email** and complete the fields manually, or select **Configure Email Template** to create a template.
     * If impact.com cannot retrieve the creator's email address, you'll have to obtain it yourself.

**Note**: If you have an automated email workflow for new prospects, using the extension to send an email will send them a duplicate email.

#### Add a prospect without an existing impact.com account

1. Navigate to a creator you’re interested in on any of the following social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, X, or Twitch.
2. Open the Chrome extension and sign in.
3. Review the creator’s data in the extension. See the *Profile reference* above for details.
4. If they look like a good fit, select **Add Prospect**.
5. Enter some basic details about the prospect:
   * Name
   * Description
   * Email
   * URL
6. Select **Save**.
7. View your list of saved [*Prospects*](https://app.impact.com/secure/advertiser/discover/radius/fr/partner_prospecting.ihtml#includeClosed=false\&sortBy=lastActivityDate\&sortOrder=DESC\&sourceCategory=discover%2Cextended%20search%2Cimpact%20ai%2Cmessaging%2Cstaff%20recommended%2Cother\&stage=Negotiating%2CNew%2COutreach) in your impact.com account.
