# Step 5: Pay Your Creators

Creator campaigns offer a flexible payment solution and include any combination of the following payment methods that you've picked during the campaign setup:

* **Flat-fee payments:** To manage your flat-fee payments and instantly pay creators, refer to [Manage Creator Campaign Payments](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/creator-program/creator-campaigns-for-brands/manage-creator-campaign-payments).
* **Performance-based payments:** Performance-based payments are set up in your template terms. You can [modify your payout rates](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/contracts-and-template-terms/template-terms/modify-template-terms) in your template terms.
* **Product gifting:** Send gifts to creators to promote your product. Refer to [Manage Creator Campaign Gifting Orders](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/creator-program/creator-campaigns-for-brands/manage-creator-campaign-gifting-orders) for more information.

Keep your creators happy and engaged by offering a mix of the compensation models listed below:

* **Commission**: competitive commissions (15-20%) encourage creators to promote products more often, increasing their earning potential.
* **Flat fees**: compensate creators for posts using a hybrid of flat fees and commission to ensure that your creators are rewarded for content creation, while lowering your upfront costs.
* **Performance bonuses**: these should be awarded to creators for hitting certain revenue, conversion, or traffic goals to encourage more frequent promotions.
* **Dynamic commissions**: using dynamic commissions to increase payouts on things like certain products, promo codes, or price categories can increase AOV and conversion rate.
* **Product gifting**: regular gifting of products to creators, especially top-performers, allows them to showcase your products in a more genuine way and will strengthen your relationship.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/creator-program/introduction-welcome-to-creator/step-5-pay-your-creators.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
