Set Up Your Portal's General Settings

Your Creator Edit portal's general settings allow you to edit your portal's name, top navigation items, your social media links, dashboard widgets and footer content. Your portal's general settings can be accessed either directly from your Creator Edit portal or via your impact.com account settings. Choose the relevant tab in each step below.
Changes go live immediately. Creators will see your edits as soon as you save. If you're unsure about a setting, contact support before making changes.
Access general settings
In the upper-right corner, select your <Name>
[Drop-down menu] → Admin.
From the left navigation menu, select General settings. See the steps below to edit the general settings of your portal.
From the top navigation bar, select
[User profile] → Settings.
On the right, under Program Settings, navigate to Creator Edit → General Settings. See the steps below to edit the general settings of your portal.
Once you've adjusted your settings, select Save.
Edit the portal name and top navigation menu
In the Portal name section, select Edit to update the portal name.
Your portal's name is displayed as the title in your browser tab.
In the Navigation section, select Edit for the link you want to update.
In the Edit Top Navigation Link window, update the following fields:
Link Name: The name that appears in the top navigation menu.
Position: Order the navigation link by rank from left to right, with 0 being the leftmost link.
Use the
[Toggle] to show or hide the navigation link.
Select Submit.
Your top navigation menu should update once you refresh the page.
Update your Portal Name.
In the Navigation section, you can edit your top navigation menu:
Update the name of your portal that appears in the top navigation menu.
Rearrange the order in which your links appear in the top navigation menu by dragging and dropping the
[Rearrange] icon.
Show or hide the top navigation link, use the [Toggle] button.
Optionally, you can add more links to your top navigation menu by selecting
[Add] Add Another.
You can remove links you've added via this method by selecting
[Delete].

Add or edit social media links
You can add any social media links to display in the footer of your portal.
In the Social media links section, select
Add Social Media Link.
Enter the following information:
Platform: Enter the social portal's name. The link icon will automatically update according to the portal name.
Refer to Supported social platforms to see which links you can add to the footer.
Link destination: Enter the URL to the page you want to add.
Link Icon: Optionally, add an alternative icon to replace the default social media icon.
Ensure you have access to the icon's URL at the web location where it's being hosted.
Position: Order the social icons by rank from left to right with 0 being the leftmost link.
Status: Use the [Toggle] to show or hide the social media link.
Select Create.
Your social portal will be added to the footer of your portal.
Select Edit to edit your social media link's position or status.
To display your social media icon links, select
[Toggle on].
Select your social media platform using the drop-down menu.
Refer to Supported social platforms to see which links you can add to the footer.
Enter the URL to the page you want to add.
Show or hide the social media platform, use the
[Toggle] button.
Rearrange the order in which your links appear in the top navigation menu by dragging and dropping the
[Rearrange] icon.
Remove social media platform links by selecting
[Delete].
Add more social media links by selecting
[Add] Add Another.
Edit the dashboard widgets
Note: This section can only be accessed via your impact.com account.
You can manage the order and visibility of your dashboard widgets.
Select between Desktop or Mobile view at the top of the section to choose which dashboard widgets you want to manage.
To rearrange the order of your dashboard widgets, select
[Rearrange] and drag the widget to the position you want it to appear.
To disable the visibility of your widgets,
[Toggle off] the widget. To enable it, [Toggle on] the widget.

Main panel widgets
Metrics
Provides an overview of your earnings and financial status:
Lifetime earnings — The total amount of money you’ve been paid over the entire history of your account.
Digital wallet — The current balance available in your digital wallet, which you can withdraw to your bank account.
Scheduled payments — The total amount of confirmed earnings that are scheduled to be transferred to your digital wallet on an upcoming payment date.
Under contract — The amount of potential earnings from campaigns and performance-based earnings that’ve been negotiated but haven’t yet locked.
Categories
Displays your chosen categories of products. To learn more, see Add & Edit Recommended Categories.
Curated Collections
Displays your curated collections. To learn more, see Add & Edit Curated Collections.
Popular Products
Highlights your best-selling or trending products. To learn more about how to select which products appear in this widget, see Customize Popular Products on Your Dashboard.
Product Collections
Shows various groupings of your products.
Resources
Provides access to helpful links and other resources for your creators. To learn more about resources, see Create & Edit Creator Resources.
Campaigns
Shows your ongoing campaigns.
Sidebar widgets
User Profile
Displays your creator's profile information.
Tracking Link
This widget makes it easy for creators to create tracking links from their dashboard.
Chrome Extension Prompt
Displays a call-to-action to install your Chrome extension if you have one.
Media Properties
Shows a list of your creator's connected social media accounts.
Promo Codes
Displays your available promotional codes.
Surveys
Provides a list of surveys. To create a survey for your program, see Create a Partner Survey.
Edit the portal footer and footer links
The portal footer displays your copyright text, social media links, privacy policy, and more.
In the Portal footer section, select Edit to update your copyright or social icons link text.
In the Footer links section, select Edit for the link you want to update.
In the Edit Footer Link window, update the following fields:
Link Name: Enter the footer link name.
Link destination: Enter the URL of the page to which you want to link.
Link Icon: Optionally, add an icon to the footer link.
Ensure you have access to the icon's URL at the web location where it's being hosted.
Position: Order the footer links by rank from left to right with 0 being the leftmost link.
Status: Use the
[Toggle] to show or hide the footer link.
Select Submit.
Your footer should update once you refresh the page.
In the Portal Footer section, update your Copyright Text or Social Icons Link Text.
In the Footer Links section, you can:
Enter the footer link name.
Enter the URL of the page to which you want to link.
To show or hide the footer link, use the
[Toggle] button.
Rearrange the order in which your links appear by dragging and dropping the
[Rearrange] icon.
Remove social media platform links by selecting
[Delete].
Add more footer links by selecting
[Add] Add Another.
