# Mark an Event as a Test for Advocate

You can send *test events* to your live Advocate program to confirm that your configuration works as expected. It's recommended to mark these events as tests within your impact.com account after they've been sent. Test events will be removed from revenue-related analytics, reporting, and billing.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Warning**: Marking an event as a test can't be undone.
