# Filter & Manage Advocate Participants

You can filter participants, view a participant profile and performance statistics, and [add](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/advocate-program/manage-advocate-participants/add-an-individual-participant-reward-or-referral.md) or [import](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/advocate-program/manage-advocate-participants/import-advocate-participants-in-bulk.md) users.

#### View your participants

1. 2. Search for or filter your participants using the filtering tools below *Participants*.
   * Refer to the [*Filter participants*](#filter-participants) section for more information.
3. Select a **participant's name** to see more information about their profile.
4. View an overview of the participant stats.
   * Refer to the *Participants statistics table* for more information.
   * For additional insights into participant statistics, view [Reporting Overview](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/advocate-program/advocate-reporting-and-analytics/advocate-analytics-overview-explained.md).
5. In the upper-right corner of the screen, select **Refresh Participant Stats** to get the latest insights.

#### Filter participants

Filter participants by matching certain characteristics with a filter type and the preferred value.

Some filters can be created using [custom fields](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/advocate-program/manage-advocate-participants/custom-and-calculated-fields/custom-fields-for-advocate-explained.md) and appear in the filter drop-down menu.

1. On the *Participants* screen, next to the search box, select **Advanced filter** → **Add filter**
2. From the *Select filter* ![](/files/jA6jLZ1RleK5VI2zmvap) **\[Drop-down menu]**, choose your preferred filter, the filter type, and the result.
   * Refer to the *filter reference table* for more information.
3. Once you've specified the filter results from the ![](/files/jA6jLZ1RleK5VI2zmvap) **\[Drop-down menu]**, your participants will filter accordingly.

   * Select **Add filter** to add more filters.
