Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/advocate-program/introduction-welcome-to-advocate/step-7-utilize-reporting.md).

# Step 7: Utilize reporting

[Advocate offers different reports](https://help.impact.com/en/support/solutions/articles/155000000320) for your program and participant data that allows you to keep track of which participants and rewards are offering the best outcomes. These reports can be used to leverage the best settings for your advocates to ensure you get maximum value out of your programs.

You can also make use of the [referrals feed](https://help.impact.com/en/support/solutions/articles/155000003894) for further insights such as who initiated referrals, where the advocate's link was clicked, and more. Such data helps you make better-informed decisions when establishing the best goals and actions for your referral program.

The analytics suite consists of an [analytics overview](https://help.impact.com/en/support/solutions/articles/155000000947-advocate-analytics-overview-explained) that shows performance across all of your advocate programs and the [program analytics page](https://help.impact.com/en/support/solutions/articles/155000000947-advocate-analytics-overview-explained) will show a detailed performance history on an individual advocate program basis.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/advocate-program/introduction-welcome-to-advocate/step-7-utilize-reporting.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
