# Descripción general de las reglas de enrutamiento de redirección

**Redirecciones**, un tipo de **Regla de enrutamiento**, enviará el tráfico a una nueva URL de destino en lugar del destino hipervinculado original. Cuando el tráfico cumple criterios específicos (conocidos como *condiciones*), y, por ejemplo, hace clic en un anuncio que uno de sus socios está alojando, será redirigido a una "URL de redirección" alternativa en lugar de la URL de destino original.
